This is finally done.
"Scattered" is a medium to large canvas (20" by 20"). Great for a bedroom, hallway, or even a living room. Would look good with smaller artworks hung around it in a hallway display yet strong enough to stand alone.
Edges of the painting are painted allowing the picture to continue, this allows you to hang canvas as is for a contemporary look if you choose. You can also frame it in a modern frame or a traditional style frame and matboard.
I think this one is feminine but bold. The petals, the colour all create a softer look but the shape of canvas (square) is more contemporary and the strong brushworks and darker background inspire a strength.
This photograph shows size with roses as comparison.
