Quality

A little something that only my customers and I know is that I do something a little special for them in each order. My art is personal to me and it's like sending little art babies off into the world of unknown and I want them to go to someone, somewhere special. So when I send them off, I do everything that I can to make sure they get there in one piece.

For those who purchase canvas boards, you will receive your work wrapped in wax paper if they've recently been painted or varnished. This will be accompanied with bubble-wrap and then a final layer of tissue paper. All boards are then placed in a padded envelope. I insure, track and always check on confirmation of delivery. I want you to get your art without hassle.

As for those of you who purchase canvases it is mostly the same process with one difference, unless it's small enough to fit in a padded envelope, I usually create its own box from recycled cardboard. I have a large stack of cardboard that I keep here and this allows custom creations. I really enjoy the fact that it is recycled but also that it's made just for you.

Second, I want your purchase to feel special.
This is something that you have purchased for you or a friend or a loved one, and it means something. I know this. So, I always send a note/postcard or letter specific to you and the painting that you bought. I want you to know my appreciation.

Last, every purchase receives a Thank You card (preprinted) and business cards so you can hand them out or just keep as a reminder of the artists name.

I want your experience from TamandaArt to be a positive one.

Audiobooks and Art

I know many artists like to listen to music while they paint but I like to listen to audiobooks. I borrow from the library and its usually great but today I was three quarters through when it expired on me (my fault). When I went back in to borrow it, I had to place a hold. So I'll have to wait a week to find out what happened.  Blue Hydrangea 096 oil on canvas board 8" by 8" Click to Buy   Whenever I look at a painting I can always remember what book I was listening to. In some ways I self title them that way. This one will always be split into two but I got it finished anyway.  Not to advertise but I realize if I don't say it's a cliff hanger -  Sara Gruen - At the Water's Edge (interrupted- don't tell me how it ends) Sara Gruen - Water For Elephants
