Daily Paintings

 Starting in September I have tried to make daily paintings once again. 
The idea is to paint a small painting everyday. I will admit that not all paintings work out and some take more than a day considering that I'm lucky if I can get 4 hours of painting a day. 

This was my first painting that I tried.

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room.
