Daily Painting #3

After having some trouble with the 5" by 7" size, I thought it might be better to scale up a little larger. I'm still trying to sort out colours, how to make volume but still keep florets, but I think the star of the show is the glass vase and all the reflections.

Tulips

This is one of my favorite paintings. Nobody has bought it yet. It's just 8"x8" but it has so much presence. I think its time that it goes to a nice home.

Happy New Year!

Another thank you to those of you who supported me last year.  It was a great year and I learned a lot.  Here's to hoping that this upcoming year will be just as good, if not better. Maybe I'll even use a different colour other than pink.
