Fruit!

Last week I was working with fruit.
I wanted to change it up from flowers and create something with more
definition, more dimension. So I set up a still life zone and painted away.

I just used some board that I bought at a dollar store and taped it together.
The lamp has just a regular bulb in it.
It's sitting on a roll cart so I can move it around.

This is the first of the still life's with oranges.

Spring Rhythm

This is another one of my faves! It's a softer Spring piece but there is something almost musical about the flow throughout. The yellow flowers were trimmed from my rosebush out in the front yard. The rest of the arrangement came from Creekview Floral, who do amazing bouquets and arrangements.  "Spring Rhythm" 12 x 16 oil on canvas This one needs a new home!

Hydrangeas

It's that time of year! Hydrangeas have bloomed. Sunflowers have bloomed. If you want them all year round, here's the best way to keep them! All are still available!
