Working on...


At the beginning of the year I wanted to get organized.
I at least wanted to set out some plans, goals of what I wanted to accomplish.
I think I set too many.

I have started the Dark Series (but I keep adding more to what was intended to only be six)


Then I said I was finally going to get to the landscapes that I intended to do.
Then I added that Rose Series (and of course I would go large)


I still haven't finished the Algonquin Marsh painting yet.


So of course, I started getting more canvases ready to paint on...

Sounds about right.

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room.
