Blooming March

All this week is going to be featuring mostly wet on wet paintings.
As a part of the Blooming March challenge, I will try to get two paintings done a day for seven days.
Or at least one.
These are quicker and wetter renderings, having to be finished right away.
Let's see how I do...

Hydrangeas

It's that time of year! Hydrangeas have bloomed. Sunflowers have bloomed. If you want them all year round, here's the best way to keep them! All are still available!

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room. It's small size allows for it to be a part of a larger compilation or in smaller spaces such as hallways, kitchen, or bathrooms. Iris (19-14) 6" by 6" oil on canvas board Click to buy with Paypal
