Day three of Blooming March

Blooming March Challenge
Day Three

I will admit that this was actually the first painting I did in the challenge.
It was what I would call "a test run" to see if a) I could do blossoms and b) how long they would take all in one go.
It seemed to come out okay so I agreed to the challenge.
I'm glad I did

Spring Rhythm

This is another one of my faves! It's a softer Spring piece but there is something almost musical about the flow throughout. The yellow flowers were trimmed from my rosebush out in the front yard. The rest of the arrangement came from Creekview Floral, who do amazing bouquets and arrangements.  "Spring Rhythm" 12 x 16 oil on canvas This one needs a new home!

Hydrangeas
