Not so daily painting

This was another painting that was supposed to be a quick daily painting

and it became a three day painting.

I kept changing the tones from warmer to cooler and then back again.

This is a loose rendition of lavender from my garden from last year.

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white. This artwork could work in any room. Hydrangeas
