It's been a great week!

I am trying to remember to put everything up on social media.

There are so many forums and sometimes (okay, most of the time) one or more get forgotten or are totally out of date. So here goes...

These two paintings sold just this week.

This little gem was sold to an wonderful lady in Quebec whom wrote me such a beautiful letter back.

I am so glad that this painting means so much to you!

Endless August

Barely dried and off into its packaging.

I didn't realize it at first but this happy painting is off to a home in Illinois where I have also sold another painting four years ago. Glad that it's going somewhere where it will be appreciated.

Emergence

This painting has arrived in North Carolina!

I have been in correspondence with Nancy for quite a few months now and I have to say she is such a dream to talk with (or message as the case may be). I am so lucky to have such wonderful patrons.

I get such amazing feedback from everyone which I really appreciate!

Audiobooks and Art

I know many artists like to listen to music while they paint but I like to listen to audiobooks. I borrow from the library and its usually great but today I was three quarters through when it expired on me (my fault). When I went back in to borrow it, I had to place a hold. In some ways I self title them that way. This one will always be split into two but I got it finished anyway. Hydrangeas

It's that time of year! Hydrangeas have bloomed. Sunflowers have bloomed. If you want them all year round, here's the best way to keep them! All are still available!

Painted Daisies

Last Monday I started this painting (I finished it Friday) I had intended to do a serious still life with dark shadows and depth but the daisies were too happy. It became another painting about colour. I guess I've been in a good mood because they've all turned out like it this week. Perhaps, not a bad thing.
