Cleaning Up

Another corner done!

 
I love the power of paint.
By just painting these old drawers, it changed the whole look.


Here's the before.

These old drawers were in a bad state and needed some help.




I took everything apart and then primed them with special primer.
This one specified being able to paint on laminate. 
These drawers are foil on particle board but close enough.


It took 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of acrylic enamel (velvet) but they turned out well.


It may not be a window but it was easy and I could do it all by myself.
Also cheap. Love them bargains!

Spring Rhythm

This is another one of my faves! It's a softer Spring piece but there is something almost musical about the flow throughout. The yellow flowers were trimmed from my rosebush out in the front yard. The rest of the arrangement came from Creekview Floral, who do amazing bouquets and arrangements.  "Spring Rhythm" 12 x 16 oil on canvas This one needs a new home!

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room. It's small size allows for it to be a part of a larger compilation or in smaller spaces such as hallways, kitchen, or bathrooms. Iris (19-14) 6" by 6" oil on canvas board Click to buy with Paypal
