Named!

It took me a little while to figure out what to call this painting.
I worked on the painting for quite a few months creating layers of translucent glazes and correcting and changing the colors until I thought it was just right.
I knew the theme was all about summer.
All about the hot sun,
the warm breezes, the endless blue sky.
But...
What to name it?
It's such a playful piece I didn't want something too serious so I went with simplicity.

Simple.
I hope you like it.

Spring Rhythm

This is another one of my faves! It's a softer Spring piece but there is something almost musical about the flow throughout. The yellow flowers were trimmed from my rosebush out in the front yard. The rest of the arrangement came from Creekview Floral, who do amazing bouquets and arrangements.  "Spring Rhythm" 12 x 16 oil on canvas This one needs a new home!

Color!

Did someone say they wanted a painting with color? HOT Pink! available as original or as a Print!

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room. It's small size allows for it to be a part of a larger compilation or in smaller spaces such as hallways, kitchen, or bathrooms. Iris (19-14) 6" by 6" oil on canvas board Click to buy with Paypal
