Collies

Here are two examples of Collies.
I needed a larger example of a close up (more detail)

Collie

The above picture: I repainted the background three times. Once because it was boring. Second time because my husband informed me that it was 'way too green'. Hope this one works.

Border Collie
8" x 8"
oil on canvas board

This one was fun.
Still working out the specifics with the white tones in the fur.
More grey? More cream? Something in between?

Audiobooks and Art

I know many artists like to listen to music while they paint but I like to listen to audiobooks. I borrow from the library and its usually great but today I was three quarters through when it expired on me (my fault). When I went back in to borrow it, I had to place a hold. Spring time!

Spring is here! Although some days are still rather cool, the sun is shining more.  The rain has made everything nice and green and the gardening centers are really busy!
