Tis the Season

Here is a peek at something I have been working on.

It didn't really start out all that pretty despite the beautiful reference of
Creekview Floral Co. flowers.

I wasn't sure what I was going to do in the background.

I am kinda in love with this blue.

At this point I will play around with the composition,
deepen the shadows underneath to try and balance it out.

You can see my little squiggles here. Not exactly high tech, but I know what I mean.
A bit like my handwriting, as long as I can read it, right?

Lets see where this goes, shall we?

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room. It's small size allows for it to be a part of a larger compilation or in smaller spaces such as hallways, kitchen, or bathrooms. Iris (19-14) 6" by 6" oil on canvas board Click to buy with Paypal

Hydrangeas

It's that time of year! Hydrangeas have bloomed. Sunflowers have bloomed. If you want them all year round, here's the best way to keep them! All are still available!

What a Mix

Today I was all over the place at first, running around. Somehow I managed to finish three paintings that I had sitting unfinished for a little while  Floral Mix 012 6" by 6" oil on canvas board Click to Buy Reach to the Top 7" by 5" oil on canvas board Click to Buy Green Reflections 5" by 7" oil on canvas board Buy with Paypal A productive day after all.
