Okay, it's been a while but I'm still here in my studio working (as much as I can with chaos in the house). I have been doing all kinds of research, have been playing with palette selections and have been working on drawings as well. Of course, nothing is finished but I'm hoping to prep myself ready to start September off with a good start. I did manage to pop this little painting out (and so many others did not make the cut).
