Spring is here! Kind of.

The weather has been all over the place. We've had a long winter, then a brief glimpse of summer and then it got cold (spring?). Nobody can keep up. Good news though is the tulips were able to survive all this, until my dogs got them (for dog lovers - they don't eat them, they just destroy them and I remove the plant until the next year they try to grow).

So I thought I would give painting them a try. I like the composition. I hope you do too.

Spring Rhythm

This is another one of my faves! It's a softer Spring piece but there is something almost musical about the flow throughout. The yellow flowers were trimmed from my rosebush out in the front yard. The rest of the arrangement came from Creekview Floral, who do amazing bouquets and arrangements.  "Spring Rhythm" 12 x 16 oil on canvas This one needs a new home!

Color!

Did someone say they wanted a painting with color? HOT Pink! available as original or as a Print!

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room. It's small size allows for it to be a part of a larger compilation or in smaller spaces such as hallways, kitchen, or bathrooms. Iris (19-14) 6" by 6" oil on canvas board Click to buy with Paypal
