Holiday Season

This year was a bit different for me because I started painting Christmas art in October. It was a little confusing and actually a little sad. It didn't feel right. Somehow it loses the magic. 
Fast forward a few weeks and now we're in December. 
Okay, now I can handle the festivities.

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room.
