When I realized the star of the show was always going to be the glass vase,
I just went with it. I made it center stage.
I think the dark background simplifies the piece, enhancing the foreground.

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white. This artwork could work in any room.
