Peonies again!

I know, I know, lots of peonies.

This was supposed to be a quick daily painting but it took longer than that.

The glass vase got too interesting, The petals got complicated with all those hues and values.

I managed to get a "in-process" photo where you are able to see how it started.

Spring Rhythm

This is another one of my faves! It's a softer Spring piece but there is something almost musical about the flow throughout. The yellow flowers were trimmed from my rosebush out in the front yard. The rest of the arrangement came from Creekview Floral, who do amazing bouquets and arrangements. "Spring Rhythm" 12 x 16 oil on canvas This one needs a new home!

Hydrangeas

It's that time of year! Hydrangeas have bloomed. Sunflowers have bloomed. If you want them all year round, here's the best way to keep them! All are still available!

Spring is here! Although some days are still rather cool, the sun is shining more. The rain has made everything nice and green and the gardening centers are really busy!
