The Poinsettia is recognized as a Christmas plant and over the years I have painted a few.
It's interesting to look back and see how much the colors and the technique has changed.
This is another one of my faves! It's a softer Spring piece but there is something almost musical about the flow throughout. The yellow flowers were trimmed from my rosebush out in the front yard. The rest of the arrangement came from Creekview Floral, who do amazing bouquets and arrangements. "Spring Rhythm" 12 x 16 oil on canvas This one needs a new home!
