Different types of fur is something I didn't really encounter with flowers, it's a new challenge.

I found these types of dogs were more sculptural and I could use nice thick paint strokes.

Iris (19-14)

Another iris for the collection. This is a part of the spring collection that I am working on. I kept the background simple so the focus was on the main attraction, the bloom. The purple is a deep variation of colour and the top of the bloom is a gauzy white.  This artwork could work in any room.
